No bake, refined sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, heart healthy, high fiber
These No-Bake-Bites are delicious and easy to make. I used my favorite granola and made a quick energy snack that is truly addictive! Seriously, I could not stop wanting these crispy bites with a tempting chocolate and vanilla flavor combo and just the right amount of sweetness from honey. You can make them vegan by using maple syrup or brown rice syrup instead of honey. Kids love this recipe. So, make a batch together with your favorite kid and indulge their sweet tooth with healthy nutrition.

Instructions

1. Heat honey, almond butter, and vanilla in the microwave or in a pan over low heat until melted and very warm. Stir ingredients together into a smooth thick syrup. Then add salt and cocoa powder and stir again to make a smooth chocolate syrup.
2. Place 2 cups of your favorite granola into a large bowl. Pour hot almond chocolate syrup over the granola and stir well to coat all ingredients.
3. Let batter sit in refrigerator until chilled for 20 minutes. Then roll mixture into 2-tablespoon-sized balls with your hands, pressing firmly to shape. It may help to use a little water on your hands to roll the bites. Repeat with remaining mixture.
4. Store in freezer for up to 2 months or refrigerate for up to one week.
