Herbs and Flowers
I love using herbs from my garden in delicious healthy baking recipes. Herbs and flowers are so pretty, like in my eye-popping Lemon Lavender Cookies. Lavender has strong flavor, so pair it accordingly with other assertive flavors like lemon! Cooking with lavender creates fragrant, beautiful recipes for a special occasion. Don’t put yourself in a box thinking you can’t use flowers and herbs in your baking. Experiment with combinations that aren’t tried and true—apricot and basil, chocolate and mint, lime and rosemary. Nature has an amazing way of coordinating beauty and taste!
